Our infant classroom promotes positive relationships among all children and adults. It encourages each child’s sense of individual worth and belonging as part of a community and fosters each child’s ability to contribute as a responsible community member. Our curriculum helps inspire social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.
Wonder Joy Academy understands the importance of small class sizes. In our centers we have 2 infant rooms which allow our teachers to spend more one-on-one time with each child. Our first infant room is designed for children from 6 weeks to 8 months.
We are able to follow each child’s individual schedule while they grow and develop. Our second infant room is designed for children from 8 months to 15 months. In the second infant room, children are able to start developing a schedule where they can transition into the toddler classroom and a sounder schedule.
In both of our infant classrooms, we practice safe sleeping. This means we do not allow children to have anything in their cribs while they sleep. We do provide open arm swaddles to help keep children warm, if it is requested. We do not require parents to bring prepared bottles and we offer homemade baby food!
