In our toddler room, our goal is to focus on a child’s development which will allow them to start exploring their environment based on the new information they are receiving. Play, language, math, and other developmental milestones are important to master at this age as the curriculum starts to become more about the skills, they will need to be successful.
As we stress small classroom sizes, our toddler room is designed for 12 children on any day. As a child transitions from the infant room, our teachers help each child develop a daily routine which will allow them to maximize their learning and development.
As language is one of the main skills teachers want to develop, we give children tools to use to help them communicate, such as sign language. Our lessons allow children to spark curiosity in the world around them. We start to include circle time, songs and poems, along with many other learning objectives.
