Two years old focus their time on discovering what is around them by interacting with their teachers and peers. Weekly lessons plans are created to bring new understanding and insight into what is around them. A child’s social/emotional development starts to become more involved as they interact and play with each other.
Our environment allows a child to feel safe and secure as they learn and use new skills. As toddlers enter the two’s classroom, they are met with new challenges and materials which allow children to develop skills they are just starting to learn.
Our teachers take the time and attention to make sure each child is able to master many of the tasks they will run into. Lesson plans continue to be created to each child’s unique learning style and we start to introduce potty training as each child is ready. We strive to make sure children get outside to play and learn.
